Making Donations to the Ionia County Historical Society
The ICHS is completely reliant on the generosity of donations - no public funds are apportioned for the Society or the Museum. Therefore, all your support is greatly appreciated! Fund raising events, including ocassional Historic Tours, Yard Sales, Raffles, and Appraisal Roadshow events (among others) bring in nearly enough to meet basic operating expenses, but never enough for special projects and improvements. Occassional grants are received for specific needs. If you are interested in helping with this process, please contact us! The ICHS is a registered 501-(C)-3 non-profit organization, so monetary donations may be tax-deductable. Bequests and memorial funds are also very much appreciated. Non-monetary donations are welcomed as well (subject to the review of the Accessions Committee.) And of course, we can always use some volunteers! |
